Companies Serious About ‘Mocketing’

Mocketing is a new concept in advertising.You make fun of the product you are trying to sell and may be,create and build  awareness of the product in the public conscious.Humor is the product of irreverence which forms the central theme in modern advertising.

It is funny that the companies have become flippant enough to spend their resources on debunking their own products.They go to the extent of berating their own standards of quality but they seem to be achieving something in the process by way of larger sales volumes. They may even push the competitor’s sales by positively praising their quality.The ultimate objective seems to be to keep the product alive in public memory.
